August Meditation for Business Professionals focused on resources, your resources of Time, Energy and Money being external resources. Learning to hold your inner resource of energy through personal power is a new way to be in relationship, where you have the confidence, courage and inner wisdom to speak up, set healthy boundaries and ask for what you want.

Through this meditation we explored energy as personal power- a new way to understand your value, worth, truth, desire and how we show up in the world. Action, the ability to act, courage, will, determination all come through the power of energy.

If you are not taking actions, where are you limiting your personal power, and holding back your energy?

If you are guarded, holding your energy, personal power close to you, where are you afraid of being seen, vulnerable- not able to fully embrace your power because of past programming or fears?

During our experience of Meditation each participant was able to clearly see what they want more of, personally, professionally and in lifestyle. The conversation was open, revealing, expressive and most importantly giving everyone permission to say what they wanted, being heard, validated and owning their own power!

The true power of community

The true power of community

Understanding what you value holds a wealth of power for you. You see, as you decide and understand qualites you value, aspects of living, that hold meaning to you, it is up to you to align with the right people and communities. Sounds simple. The maze or confusion people get caught in is past programming and patterns plus, to embrace feel and see the new opportunity, which is what they want.

True power of community does not come from need. Our ancestors needed community in order to survive, for basic needs- food clothing shelter safety. As we have evolved, technology expanded our living situations, opportunity has been given to move beyond the fears and limitations based on survival.

This message is an invitation.

Where are you in community that does not nourish your spirit? Where are you wanting growth, new experience and not encountering it from community?

These are opportunities for you. These same opportunities those who like the idea of safety, stuck in story or depended on others are unwilling to step forward into.

I, love growth, change and building something that holds meaning to me.

How about you?

As you process and flow through this idea, understand where you are and where your values are. Maybe your life has increased and it’s time to look at areas you had not been exposed to before.

This is growth as well as building a new foundation in an area of your life you had not given attention to before.

Community in its truest form, where there is no fear, is designed to support, nourish, nurture, develop each generation to pass forward and add to. This means build. It means support. Wouldn’t you love more positive encouraging support in adding more to your life? Not from force, or needing to fit in, rather from a grounded perspective of normal satisfying, practical living.

These are the true roots of community.

One specific I find in this organic model of community is a level of acceptance. No one is being judged, criticized or looked down upon for who you are. This model is inviting, understanding, empathetic, compassionate and wholehearted in people growing to their potential.

People growing to their potential means: there is enough for everyone, no one is special. Flow moves. It offers those who know they have gifts generosity and skills to contribute, can give and their giving is not based on money time and energy. This level of giving comes from the heart and mind to support and connect people.

Encouraging a new form of community takes looking at where you’re settling, accepting or just don’t feel expansive “energetically aligned”.

It’s a practice and gives you permission to be right, to decide what you want and make the changes necessary to find it.

Now, go out. Take the actions. Find the communities which will support and bring you the growth you desire.

Health and well being is often left for another day. When there is more time. The truth is, making health and well being a priority may be just what the Dr. orders to save your life, your relationship and your overall well being. To look at health and well being as a “cost” in itself is a problem. Your health is one of the greatest assets you have. Your body, your mind and your spirit. It becomes a necessity to keep them working optimally, to fuel them well, paying attention to your lifestyle which is the road map that navigates your health and well being. To become aware of the true value of exercise and clean eating, places your health and well being in your own care.

Here are 3 Tips for health and well being for your body mind and spirit

  1. Set time aside during the day, even 10 minutes to begin to make exercise a habit. With 10 minutes a day scheduled you can begin to reinforce your positive actions. Your exercise can be as simple as focus on breathing, crunches, a walk, or even arm swings and body rotation. The point here being START. Start, commit and follow through. Make exercise a habit and a plan that works for you.
  2. Begin to look at exercise and clean eating as a saving plan, as a way to invest in your body. Your health and well being needs attention just like your finances. Take time today to invest your energy in your body through movement and clean eating.
  3. Turn your thoughts and beliefs about exercise being hard or time consuming into a way to appreciate your body and your energy. See exercise and clean eating through a new lens. It serves a purpose to support you. Find a way to enjoy your choice of activity- doing something that you want to be doing. Exercise has no set rules except that you show up to do it. It’s about moving your body. Exercise can be any form of movement and any intensity level. The fact is to begin- and make exercise and clean eating a habit that is the true nature of health and well being.
